Youth Competitive Archery/JOAD

These sessions are structured to the needs of the competitive archer and his or her development for local, state, and national tournaments. The program will be 10 weeks long and each session will be up to 90 minutes in length and are based on the USA Archery Curriculum which focuses on proper form and technique for competitive archery. The first 2 weeks of the class will be dedicated to shooting the NFAA Vegas Target in preparation for the ND State Vegas Shoot in Grand Forks on January 30th and 31st. The next 3 weeks weeks will focus on the NFAA 5-Spot target in preparation for the ND State 300 Shoot in West Fargo on February 20th and 21st. The last 5 weeks will be dedicated the the USA Archery JOAD program. There will also be the opportunity to shoot in the MN State 300 Shoot which will take place in West Fargo on March 20th and 21st. A current USA Archery, NFAA or ASA membership is required to be a part of this team. The youth must have their own equipment and be ages 8-20 and practicing outside of class is encouraged (club membership). More information on JOAD can be found on the USA Archery website.

This class will run concurrent with our indoor league season on Friday nights starting in January 2021.

Schedule - January 22, 29, February 5, 12, 19, 26, March 5, 12, 26, April 2.

There will be a $40 discount to Sandhills members, membership must be paid by first day of class.
